Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration

Course Description
This program is designed to be five trimesters, with the majority of the time being centered around "hands-on" shop training projects.
Students are trained to replace defective components on refrigeration units to work order and blueprint specification. Students also observe the functioning of components such as controls, fan, condenser, evaporator, or compressor to determine need for repair or replacement. Installation, service, and repair or domestic appliances is also taught.

- Heating and Air-Conditioning Mechanic Helper Certificate - 432 hours
- Domestic Unit Repairman Certificate - 864 hours
- Refrigeration Technician Diploma - 1296 hours
- Heating, Ventilating, Air-Conditioning Technician Diploma - 1728 hours
- Commercial Technician Diploma - 2160 hours
