Electronics Technology

  The Electronics Technology program is designed so that when the student completes all the electronic core competencies, the student can choose to specialize in either Industrial Technology or Residential Electrical Technology.

 

 

  

Electronic Technology Core

 Provides instruction in Direct and Alternating current circuits, soldering and wiring techniques, analog and Digital circuits and basic computer skills.

Industrial Technology

Requires prerequisite of Electronic Technology Core.  Provides specialized instruction in the following areas:

  • Electrical Wiring

  • AC & DC Motors and Controls

  • Hydraulic & Pneumatic Controls

  • Robotics

  • Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC's)

  Residential Electrician Technology       

  • Electrical Wiring

  • AC & DC Concepts

  • NEC General Electrical Installations

  • NEC Wiring Methods & Service Installations

  • Local, State & National Electrical Codes
